These are drivers that suggested but may not work 100%, i suggest use the driver suggest at the end of these post:
MS UAA(required with a reboot before Conexant):

Unzip to a folder..make note of location.
From Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.

I found that the remaining HD audio device is from Nvidia HD audio. you need both Conexant and Nvidia and their Nvidia Chipset. So, for everybody stressing, I have a full complete installation of Windows Xp, and all buttons work, and theres no faulty hardware.

I built a package for all, and you will need a .ZIP and .RAR archiver such as WinRAR.
Download this three part archive and un-RAR it to a workable directory, and then follow the readme.txt instructions. (i had to break down the archive into 3 parts to be able to upload it. ... This is for the Compaq Presario CQ50-215NR Drivers WIN XP with the atheros wireless card. (Download broadcom if you have that instead, its listed above)
